Medley: Reel St. Antoine - St. Thomas -- Le Calypso de Petit Pabos Bas
The first tune is a traditional Quebecois reel played frequently by contra dance bands. Jumping south, St. Thomas is a Virgin Islands tune popularized by Sonny Rollins. Le Calypso de Petit Pabos Bas was written by a Quebecois musician who'd been listening to Caribbean calypsos on the radio.
The first two tunes are traditional; the last was written by either Liette Ramon or her father (we'll work on sorting that out -- the oral tradition is at work, here, and it's easy to get these things confused!).
